Once agriculture came in, we learned how to be ants and collect slaves.
That statement sums up why I would infuriate right AND left wingers by claiming to be a conservative. I'm a conservative in the old old sense of acknowledging that we progress very slowly and can only move from 10K years of life as slaves/slavers very slowly, or else we retreat to our pre-agricultural comfort zone but, since we killed all the buffalo, the only thing left to hunt is each other.
Pray for the aliens! We need enslavement from which to set ourselves free! It's what we *DO*!
