Famous names involved include Serge Diaghelev (impressario), Michael Fokine (choreographer), Nijinsky (literally the most famous and legendary male ballet dancer in the history of the art form), Jean Cocteau (co-writer with Federico de Madrazo y Ochoa of the story), and Leon Blakst.
